Just don't see how KP can come back, if any of those players rightly or wrongly hold him even a tiny bit responsible for pushing Strauss into a decision.

Suppose Strauss going sort of opens the door to KP coming back, in a way, but i've a feeling they might think the time is right for a clean break, and an england without both Strauss and KP going forward.

Just looking at the upcoming fixtures. England have 2 tests at home against New Zeland, followed by a 5 test series at home Vs Australia. Then after that a few weeks later there is a 5 test series Vs Australia down under. 10 tests against each other in 6 months. Bit much innit?

Fell out with Notts (including the captain and the chief exec), left, went to Hampshire, fell out with them and went to Surrey. He's fallen out with the hierarchy at pretty much every team he's ever played for.
