KP was unlucky to be out as he had set himself well. Today we are looking to smash through the 400 barrier with ease, before a slog fest to wrap up the innings and hopefully be hitting near 500 before they bat. With the pitch degrading over the next couple of days, Swann will get a bit of turn later on, should be a good test
I personally think this test will turn out to be a really boring draw. Can see England batting most of today, then likewise SA doing similar.
Quite possibly because the pitch is flat, but it'll deteriorate as time progresses and Swann will become a factor, England really got one up winning the toss. SA have to push on with this mornings momentum to rectify a poor showing yesterday. The conditions were hardly ideal but we were piss poor with the ball, not having the intensity or hitting the right areas often enough. I guess that's what you can expect on the first day away on tour, but still it was not good enough for a bowling attack of this pedigree.
