I thought you'd gone to sleep and that was why England was doing better

Did John Barnes have 53 caps for Jamaica before he played for England ?

Full credit to him, he toughed it out today. But there's plenty of weaknesses there to be exploited if he gets picked for future Tests in this series.

Being a local, I can tell you that if a storm does hit, it will most likely be quite late in the afternoon. They also tend to be quite fast moving, so don't expect too much time to be lost

OK a fairer comparison. Ireland haven't played a match at full international level (i.e. a Test Match) so games for Ireland (counted as a minor county mostly and allowed two foreign players as such) should be given a similar weighting to say Ryan Giggs youth matches for England. I know Giggs is clearly Welsh but the point about national qualification I think remains valid.

I'm not sure I quite believe my own argument as presented here but I think that it is pretty obvious that nationality in terms of international sport is a bit of a gray area.

FLMAO at England. I knew they'd get tanked down under. Its one thing to scrape a win on your home soil, another to go down there and expect anything other than a total whitewash.

Though even i'm surprised at their total collapse. Although they're never gonna win where's Monty?

Enjoyed the last Ashes, but i can't be arsed staying up to watch this annihilation.

                          Hardly a thousand, is it.

I don't mind gloating Aussies but you'd think they'd have learned from last time. They ran their mouths off and ended up with egg all over their faces.

                            It's called exaggeration mate.

You see, I didn't really think we'd win by a thousand.

For absolutely no apparent reason I'm pretty confident about this one. It may be McGrath's injury and the spooky parallels with last time, I'm not sure, but I think we'll square the series in Adelaide.
