    Ashes 2006 / 2007

Anyone else think that England are going to get a right hammering in the up comming Ashes series?

    #2
Don't know about a right hammering but Australia must be favourites.

It's very hard for any nation to win over here.

If England draw the series I'll be really happy. Hopefully we can nick a 2-1 win or something.

    COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Apparently we are in for a very wet summer.

        Then we'd all be happy.

Australia would get it's much needed rain and England would keep the Ashes!

You Queenslanders need the rain more than anyone.

But you'd hate it if it stayed dry and we still kept the Ashes!

I think England could be up for a hammering.

Key players for Aus have just started to hit form and England's havent except KP

I think England will do better than the Aussies expect. The nucleus of the team that won the Ashes a couple of years back is still there, the new players that have come in have not done badly either.

Should be a great series the Aussies are in red hot form, but the England players have had a rest due to injury. Do you think Vaughan will make an appearance?

I loved watching Warne play last year what he can do with a ball is just sheer class!!

If Giles plays, England are NO chance.

Fletcher's obsession with keeping Panesar out of the side is driving me ****ing mad. It's not about what he can't do, it's about what he can do. If we get skittled for 100, it won't be because Monty got a duck at number 11.

                        Monty must play.

You don't rate the King of Spain? He did ok in the last Ashes.

To call him a spin bowler is an insult to anyone who can turn the ball.

Whatever he bowls, he took out all the Australian top order in the last series.
