Watching these Europeans celebrate at the end of it - Poulter swirling a union flag over his head, Nicolas Colsaerts sparking up consecutive spliffs, McIlroy staggering under the weight of a champagne bottle the size of his legs, all of it under a perfect blue sky, songs ringing out across the lawns - there could only be happiness at its final passing.

Has to be Rose for me. That superb putt on 16 to get a massive half and stay 1 down, the 60 footer on 17 to win and then the win on 18. Absolutely incredible stuff.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostSensational stuff last night.
Quite a few stand out moments, but the turning points for me definitely Rose beating Mickelson and Furyck handing it to Garcia. The one where he was already celebrating and it lipped out

Yeah, that was sensational and Mickelson was classy in his reaction to it, because he must have thought he had it when he nearly chipped in on 17. I still love how quickly Rose changed from full on blood curdling celebratory roar, veins popping out on his neck - to magnanimous, consolidatory grin leading into a handshake with Mickelson who had approached to about a meter away as Rose's put rolled in. Amazing stuff.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHas to be Rose for me. That superb putt on 16 to get a massive half and stay 1 down, the 60 footer on 17 to win and then the win on 18. Kaymer as well, nearly blew his lead - but somehow managed to hold on.
I still can't believe Woods let 'Molinari pick up...Modifying post.
