    I hope Sergio gets in and I forgot it was Olazabal as captain, should be a shoe in.

    I'd be tempted for Jimenez, always been pretty good with the ryder cup

      I'd go for Jimenez ahead of Harrington, just.

                  •Graeme McDowell (NI) Age: 33 Caps: 2

                    Pettersen cannot play as he is not a member of the European tour. If he would have won the US PGA he would have won a membership on the European tour

                    For me it has to be;

                    Poulter because of his record in the Ryder cup

                    Colsaerts as this is a "bombers" golf course set up to suit the big hitters in the US team

                        I didn't realise that with Pettersson, thought because he was Swedish he'd be allowed to play

                        I'd go with Colsaerts would have been my next pick mainly because of his world ranking

                            I think the Yanks are going to win this, more depth than us

                              The americans have great individual players but they cannot play as a team. That is always their downfall.

                              Europe will win this but it will be tight.

                                Home advantage with the crowd and the course, a better overall side for me
