Is it true Darren Clarke has taken his name out of the hat for 2014 captaincy?? If so probably the correct decision as he still has a chance to make the team and would make a great captain on US soil in 2016. McGinley is well thought of by the players , has won the seve trophy twice as a player and twice as captain has tons of Ryder cup experience winning it as player 3 times and twice more as vice captain.

Seems ideal to me.
