Thanjk you.

Today was another very attacking stage. Well worth watching on the ITV4 highlights.
Apart from the likes of Rodriguez snaffling the time bonuses, the major concern for Froome is that Sky looked good on the flat in the crosswinds today but Saxo Tinkoff and Katusha both looked stronger on the final climb. But it's too soon to know for sure, maybe it's just the way the race has gone so far.
Rodriguez is weaker on long, draggy climbs but, as happened today, his team can help him there when he's been dropped. So I suppose it's good for Froome and Contador that Katusha hold the lead now, and probably will for a few days. It might wear out some of Rodriguez's domestiques.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I see Movistar are upset with Sky. It's very hypocritical given how they've ridden this year (e.g. Paris-Nice, and even in the Tour).
But it's not good for Froome. Sky can expect to have a lot of riders working against them.

This USA Pro-Challenge is dull, even for me. The best bit today was when the commentator referred to the finish town, Crested Butte, as Breasted Cute.

Yes. The commentator today said there' been more attacking in the Vuelta so far than in the whole of the Tour.
Contador really tested Froome yesterday. He didn't respond to every burst of pace immediately but just accelerated gradually and made it back each time. It looks a good battle between them.
Rodriguez and Valverde are the only others who look strong enough to contest it. The race is already whittled down to four. But it was only stage four today so there's plenty of time for things to change.
And forget what I said about Van Den Broek. He lost about 3:30 yesterday and more today. Obviously I meant Valverde originally, it was a typo. :cough:

Well, that wasn't the most exciting stage. I recommend watching paint dry and then catching the last kilometre.

Meanwhile the Colorado race just came to life. Great ride from Danielson.
Independence Pass looks like a good road to climb. I'm itching to ride again.

Back to Valverde's criticism of Sky for not following the 'unwritten rule' to wait for a fallen GC leader...
I heard an excellent point made on ITV4: Valverde has no moral authority since he didn't follow a 'written rule' against blood doping and has consequently served a two year ban for it.

Froome proves that he is the man in the driving seat at the moment.
He can do this.

Euro sports coverage is ****e.
Froome looks good. Contador looks a shadow of his former self and does not have the legs at the end due to the pace they are keeping. Looked like good tactics from Sky again.
Yes, Sky did look good today. Porte's obviously not on great form but Uran and Henao did a great job.
It was a surprise to see Contador dropped like that. Good though. And Valverde.
I strongly disagree about Eurosport.
