i went to the olympics (womens marathon, triathlon, team all round gymnastics and day ticket to the olympic park) and at the weekend i attended the paralympics (mens judo -90kg) and i enjoyed them both considerably. i loved the judo at the paralympics (swear to **** some of them looked liked they had taken a leaf out of Johnny Knoxville film 'The Ringer') and it really was a great sporting spectacle.
The whole thing is inspiring like nothing ive ever witnessed and so maybe that does blind me to the obvious lower levels of sporting standard but i cant fault any of it. Been glued to the highlights whenever i get a chance to.
Roll on Glasgow commonwealth games 2014

Me too. Tried to watch, but its just ****, like trying to watch womens football. Good luck to them but it does nothing for me.
Scotland Striker Julie Fleeting was my grandmother for a brief time at uni!!! I joked about womens football being piss and she was not amused. In a game of fives she was head and shoulders the best on the pitch - although to be fair the rest of us were pretty ****e

Had a cracking day today, the Olympic stadium is brilliant with a cracking atmosphere.
Saw 3 world records set and David Weir in the 800m heat as well as picking up his gold medal
No way they can make it work for football though without re-structuring it totally.
I was there too. It was a really good day. Stayed to the end of the seemingly never ending discuss. It became fairly tense. The Algerian shot putters were great. Shame a lot of people buggered off before they completed their one - two - three. Saw them in the park later on looking over the moon too.
I wish they communicated what the technical fouls were a bit better though.

They could have made the field events a bit easier to follow.
