Well Done lads, another great result from the Wire !!!
    ON THE COUCH...

Is that who Brett Hodgson plays for?.... love the man!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

He won the grand final with my team over here in Oz. There's heaps of ex Aussie pats over there, and while I follow them, Hodgson's my man! Love him to bits. Seems like a really down to earth, decent guy.

I hated growing up in Warrington but still have a soft spot for the wire. Fully deserved.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Really? I thought it was a Cheshire/canine version of the Essex lion hoax.
