Although, if he did get good it would be an amusing indictment of the British heavy scene.
Haha yeah. And a good point about fighting amateur first - how the **** has he got a licence to just plunge into the pro game?

Plus, if he did get good he might have got himself a free holiday to Rio in a few years. Imagine how falldown trousered he'd get if he blagged a medal.

I've not seen any footage of Flintoff boxing...

I reckon once he gets hit, he wont like it and just back off. A true boxer fights back when getting punched, I cant see Flintoff fighting his way out of anything tonight.

There has been a lot of footage of him sparring in the doco... he's absolutely ****

Appears to be able to take a punch though.

In sparring Flintoff clouted his sparring partner with a ramrod right hand full in the boat, the fella's legs went and instead of Flintoff following in (which I don't suppose anyone would really do in sparring anyway, surely?) he gave him a hug and said "you alright mate?"

That was class though, but it showed he just is not cut out for it. The fella he hurt...that was the funniest stunned boxer I have seen, he was like a zombie for a few seconds...

His opponent has won both his fights, one was a KO in 19 seconds. Good night Andrew, for the sake of your wife and kids, stay in bed.

He'd be too old to fight as an amateur at Rio. Upper age limit for amateurs is 35.

Can't quite believe that he's fighting Chad Dawson in his first professional fight, fair play to him.
