Does anyone actually think that the whole Night Watchman thing actually works? The amount of times they come in and then get out before the end of play.

I've oftened wondered this, the number of times we send someone out there and walk back in before the close is frustrating to say the least.

stupid choice? He averaged 100 in the summer, has a very patient mentality and a solid technique. He was next in line and deserves his chance. Whether he takes it or not is up to him.

Done pretty well in the warm up games as well.

Not a stupid choice to have him out there - but as I said as far as I am aware he doesn't open the batting at County Level.

To be thrown in against India, on their soil, and open the batting in your debut test match is for me a crazy move.

should have shunted Trott up the order to open IMO or even KP and let this guy come in at 3 or 4.

Easiest position to bat in the sub continent, so again I don't agree.

All out for 191 and back into bat 330 behind.

We've got 33 overs to get to the end of the day, think we'll manage it but be 4 or 5 down by the end of play, selection for this test was a complete balls up

Fully expecting a heavy innings defeat

111/0 at stumps on day 3 4 more sessions like that and they may avoid defeat
                                Football without Origi is nothing
