you have to take your chances when they appear as he's so good

Murray is good and has progressed well, but he'll never reign the game like Federer, Nadal or Djokovic now.
      Are we winning?

The Djokovich, Federer, Nadal's of the tennis world are so strong mentally - they look to be losing a game and then reel off point after point.
        We come not to play.

I agree he won't win the volume of slams that Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have won but I full expect him to win 2 or 3 more in his career and with the talent around at the moment that will be an amazing success

Andre's napper is looking particularly shiny these days. Wonder if Steffi has a hand in that.

If I ran a rournament, I'd rather do it on the cheap than let a company ****heel take over the ceremony. ****ing embarrassing.

Oh well, well done to him for getting so far. He's the best British player I've ever seen, that's certain. It's a shame for him that's he happens to be playing when there are so many all-time greats.

I'm sure he'll have another fine year though. He's improved a lot in the last 12 months.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

On current form Murray is definitely second best in the world, something I never thought I would say. But Novak is just a little bit better.

Murray is closing in fast though, hitting his prime now.

Djok wins, Called it in 4 sets.
Yeah, Djokovic is the number 1 in the world but the gap is not so great.

Put it this way the game may have gone a different way had Murray converted his break points in the second set. It's that tight.

Fatigue seemed to creep in during the third and forth.

So yes, I agree Djokovic is number one, but I see Murray closing in and today and those first 2 sets convinced me he will win more Slams. Career wise he is good enough for say, 7-8 slams. If he can win Wimbledon his game could kick on to another level.

Djokovic is clearly the best player in the world right now, and likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future. However this final would have been different had Murray had an extra day to recuperate, it was fairly obvious that his feet were playing him up & to be in with a chance of beating Novak you have to be 100% which Murray clearly wasnt.

It is a bit daft that the semis are played a day apart because, as in this case, Djok barely raised a sweat in his semi whilst Murray had a gruelling 5 setter a day later.

                      How is that fair?

Anyway, given Djokovic's form Murray would have been hard pressed to beat him regardless of the extra day but that definitely needs to be looked at.

I agree with pretty much all of that

I've always said he's en excellent player. I remember defending him when people were saying he was a choker like Henman. Hell, I even remember defending him when people here (or on ST or even KT, it could have been that long ago) were attacking him for running out of energy in his first five setter at Wimbledon when he was a teenager.

I just don't think his achievements were the best by a British sportsperson last year. And lots of people agreed with me which of course means they were right.

I honestly thought you were listing oft repeated cliches in a game of Andy Murray Bingo.
