Interested to see how England go today. Not many teams switch their 10 after one game of the 6 nations. Marcus Smith is so good at 10 but it seems that Borthwick doesn’t trust him. He’s decent as an attacker so can see the sense with him playing at 15, but France are going to test his defence which is easily the weakest part of his game. Big risk. I’m not sure it will pay off.

Looking forward to the game.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostGood luck this weekend Buzzo, as of now I’m not bothered….. as I said it’s strange bring used to winning. Every time we play ye guys recently I say, ye are due a win, it could be Sunday but if we play well then we’ll win.
Your back line is dangerous, we need to run the physical battle and Peter O’Mahony has been drafted in from nowhere to start.
We are a decent team across all aspects now strong pack, particularly back tow, strong half backs strong backs. But we don’t seem to have enough to beat you lot the South Africans or the All Blacks.
Tom Jordan in is a good selection he made a difference last weekend.
I think it will be a tight game. I think you lot will edge it.

Unless it’s a World Cup quarter final of course NevOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostGood luck this weekend Buzzo, as of now I’m not bothered….. as I said it’s strange bring used to winning. It’s mad to think I didn’t even know who we were playing next week until today, it’s not that I’ve lost interest but I’ve become accustomed to winning and just expect it…..Originally posted by Buzzo View PostWell set up for next weekend, all three games have massive consequences.
We were a bit sloppy today, let Italy back in but rallied and won reasonably comfortably. Italy didn’t offer much in attack, kicked their goals and ran in an intercept. We will improve, so will Italy.
Our bench made a difference when Italy were gaining momentum.
I was well engaged during the game today and my animosity with ye guys will come out next week
it’s funny, we all like each other but every year during 6 nations you remember why you hate each of the other countries

Bonus point win - 27/22….. we ramped it up for 30 mins and made it count. England got tired and finished well with 12 points.
Happy to win

I was right on the scoreOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostItaly away game 1 is the worst time to play them, you’ll beat them handy (10/15) at home. No idea his well go today, we peaked two years ago and have been flat for a while but eeking out results. Will be a tough physical battle today
Ireland not matching England’s intensity and coughing up a few chances - 7 down but we are building

Not that this makes a huge difference, as you say, they are stacked. I’d imagine Ramos will play 10.
Off to Murrayfield today. Nervous. Italy are properly decent now.
Wales haven’t won since October 23. They need to stop the rot somehow.

With DuPont and Ntamack back I don’t anyone stops them tbh, such depth and power. Their back line is impressive and Danty should make the later games to bring even more powerOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post43-0 and France took Dupont off after 50mins. Ntamack with a red card for a ludicrous head shot at 38 nil up. Cant fault Wales effort but that was a mauling.

Outclassed. But that pass for the 3rd try was definitely forward!

Wales throwing everything at this and France arguably not that fluid.
