Ireland u-20 going for 3 in a row grand slams just won away to France (who beat them in the World Cup final last year). We’ve some amazing talent coming through - Brian Gleason at 8 and Hugh Gavin at 12 look like two worldies in the making
It’s weekend 1 - momentum and squad management are massive in 6 Nations. Ye won with a kick in the arse in a place ye hate….. no complacency vs France and plenty to work on
I think we are clear favs but our game vs ye with be an everything decider
I don’t know what to make of us. We were in total control looking at a record win, you are right though we will not be complacent after that scare.
Thought Finns post match interview was excellent. Calling out the forwards for poor discipline and not following team instructions. Our discipline was shocking, 14 pens in a row (and we still won!). I’d expect some changes to the pack.
On that first weekend Ireland look miles better than everyone else.

I was listening to some post match stuff, France had a big turn over in coaches after the WC so perhaps that’s why they were a bit disjointed as well. You said it earlier though - DuPont is so good, how much is he missed and Ntamack as well
They are away to ye next - they’ll now be pumped for that
Yeah that’s a bit of a worry. I don’t think they can play that badly twice, they made so many mistakes lacked cohesion were knocking on, really unlike them.
