We look so ofc it and Scotland battling hard at the breakdown with Christie playing v well, I think today might be the day Buzzo…. We are sloppy as ****

That looked a shocker btw - looked a try for Furlong as he had downward pressure and at worst he got a smash into the head so it should’ve been a pen

I don’t see us winning this the way we are playing

Two very tired teams but Scotland defended superbly and fronted up when it mattered. Ireland were v wasteful but probably because Scotland defended so well

Another championship isn’t to be sneezed at - I think POM and probably Conor Murray will bow out now

Might not be a bad thing, time to blood the young guns.

No idea how many tackles Scotland made but it seemed an awful lot. Some work rate from those lads.

Do think this tournament was the best chance a few countries (other than England with their deserved win) had to get a W over Ireland as even some of the better Irish wins saw a lot of frailties in the Irish set up.

Thankfully there are a lot of good younger players coming through the ranks so come this time next year the Irish team should have a few of them blooded and bedded in.

Worthy champions. Form fluctuated for all teams across the 5 games (except for maybe Wales) but Ireland were the most consistent.

Cant believe the second try wasn’t flagged for blocking - about as blatant a pen as you will ever see.

And Furlong’s downward pressure didn’t look good to you or the hit he took into his face when he was going to touch down

We deserved the win yesterday even though ye did better than the past few games. I thought both sides looked tired

Yeah there were a few arguable decisions but that one wasn’t even put to TMO. It’s about as blatant a case of blocking as you’ll ever see.

Agree, thought both looked fatigued also. It’s a brutal schedule.

Giving you guys 7 points with a butchered line out in a game with 4 points in the scoreline is unforgivable. And we seemed to get pinged the entire tournament for things other teams got away with. But overall it was a disappointing tournament for us. Another ‘what might have been’.

Andy Christie looks a player for us tho

Christie was great, a real menace at the breakdown and tough. I was beginning to go full conspiracy by thinking appointing an English ref wasn’t fair

Some win for La Rochelle away to the Stormers…. big comeback and they’ve Leinster next who had a fairly routine win over Leicester

Yeah watched the end of that, they scored a try at the end and had a conversion to win it but couldn’t make it. Wind everywhere yesterday.

Libbok was great in broken play but isn’t a reliable goal kicker….. that’ll always be held against him. The “Cape Doctor” is a factor but he should be used to it

Leinster vs La Rochelle again - LAR have their measure but it will be close no doubt

He pulled it horribly. It wasn’t even close.
