Not sure I’ve ever seen the all blacks ripped apart like that before.

Amazing tournament all teams capable of getting wins.

Brave selection was rewarded. Hooker had a great game under the high ball and that run before the try was immense. Also, that performance when so many players left the field with injuries and HIAs makes it more impressive. Constant shuffling. Thought Libbok was also outstanding.

Important to note - no de Allende, Aresnse, Willie, Kriel, Pollard, Mapimpi etc. among others. Not necessarily saying that this is a breaking point with the changing of the backline guard but it could be the first signs that some of the trusted veteran's roles will be minimised in the next few years and will definitely be phased out after the WC.
Congrats on that win - brilliant rugby being played especially in the second half.

Some of that backline play was just incredible ... I don't usually side with SA in these games .. but wow credit where its due this one was a great watch.

With a performance like that against the ABs, it's so odd they lost to the Wallabies in the first game in SA, and weren't far away from losing the second

Sad news, always a player I liked and someone I had time for as a fellow Ulcerative Colitis sufferer. Hopefully he is luckier than Joost was but I seriously doubt it. The descent is quick.

Also, was at Twickenham on the weekend. Wasn't a great game and Argentina were probably on the wrong end on some of the calls. On the performance wouldn't have begrudged them a win. Having said that it was unreal to turn London into a home game. Attendance was over 70k and I think there'd have been a minimum of 90% South Africans there. Afterwards was a carnage, so many familiar faces.

I've said it many times but people don't realise how difficult of a competition it is to win. It's rare, Duane Vermuelen has never won one for example. Back to back is big. NZ have accumulatd so many, it's impossible to equalise but it would be great to pull a few more back before they fully revitalise.

What was great was the competitiveness of it, all 4 sides can beat each other now. The rugby world needs a competitive Australia and that seems to be coming back as well

I’m sick of ye guys winning everything but less sick than if NZ were doing it

In other Rugby news my son will hopefully be playing rugby at the Hive (Edinburgh Rugby stadium) tomorrow.

I don’t think he is all that committed to playing. But he is 6ft 1 at the age of 13, strong as an ox. But ultimately not all that into it

                        Good and bad I guess

My Dad used to train our football side, we were league winning and he was old school, don’t train = don’t play. He had one exception for a guy on our team, he was Messi level but hated football and was into music and art! We used to call to his house and get him out of bed to play thd games, he’d rock up and score 5 goals.

He’s a decent mate of mine now, he has two degrees from Queen’s and Trinity and is an art curator at a very famous gallery. He’d come home from time to time and play 7 aside and was still class.

We took him pitch and putting once, never held a golf club and his first shot was like McIlroy and stuck it to about a foot - he just had no interest in sport….. what a waste!

People with that level of all round natural ability sicken me. The redeeming feature here is that this guy couldn’t give a **** about his natural gifts.

Great win for Munster away to Leinster, maybe the Lions tour is really taking a toll on them. Munster played v well though, Crowley outshone Prendergast which is good for Ireland selection!

Didn’t watch the Ireland game, but that’s the sort of red we normally get. The fact it was upgraded in the bunker is farcical.

                                Absolute game killer.
