Usually I want to enjoy this, but end up getting bored. This year, I'm really into it. Have watched all the games and am enjoying it more than footy!

Wales will put up a hell of a fight, looking forward to it. This will be the decider, Wales have been the best Home Nations team for the last few years, if England can contain them for the first 20 minutes, I can see England nicking a very close run game.

The French just need a good kicking in the first 20 mins and they will roll over.

Those that killed her, were following the law.

I love how in an international game of rugby, a player can stamp on a players ankle with force when that player is on the ground, which then ends up in a punch up, and just be told by the ref.......'Now Now Boys...Discipline, remember? Now off you go'.

          He's been cited post match.

In theory stamping offenses can carry a 52 week ban but this one will probably be 4 to 8 at a guess. Doubt we'll see him playing International Rugby again this spring.

Murphy out until the final game against Italy, fully deserved IMO

Ireland prop Cian Healy banned for Scotland and France games
Ireland prop Cian Healy will miss two Six Nations games after being banned until 10 March for stamping on Dan Cole in Sunday's defeat by England.

Healy was cited for the stamp during a ruck in England's 12-6 win in Dublin and he is suspended for the matches against Scotland and France.

The Leinster man appeared before the tournament's disciplinary committee in London on Wednesday.

Healy will be available again for the final game against Italy on 16 March.

Ireland take on Scotland on 24 February at Murrayfield before a Dublin encounter with France on 9 March.

The loose-head was found guilty of "stamping or trampling on an opponent".

Healy escaped without a yellow or red card from referee Jerome Garces during the match, but the front-rower was cited by citing commissioner Alberto Recaldini of Italy.

Healy's suspension should now pave the way for Ulster loose-head Tom Court to be recalled to the match-day squad.

Munster's Dave Kilcoyne, who was on the bench for the last two games against Wales and England, is expected to start at Murrayfield with Court among the replacements.

Two games is pretty lenient IMO.

There is plenty of confusion regarding the 3 week suspension which Cian Healy received yesterday for his stamp on England’s Dan Cole during Sunday’s Six Nations game.

The Six Nations disciplinary committee said yesterday that they would be delaying his suspension until Sunday as they believed Healy would not have played for Leinster this weekend.

The committee allowed the maximum two weeks of mitigation, but, in imposing a suspension of three weeks, recognised that the player would not have played for his province this weekend is that the suspension will end at midnight on Sunday, March 10

Leinster coach Jonno Gibbes has said that Healy is available to them and is under consideration for selection

Cian’s available and personally I’d be delighted to involve him, he’s a really big asset. He will definitely be considered. There’s are complications for others maybe, but he’s available for us. It’s a game in the break of the Six Nations and he’s under consideration.

Quoted in the Irish Times, Declan Kidney said that he believed Healy was suspended and would be unable to play for Leinster against Treviso this weekend.

It’s certainly an option that he could play for Leinster this weekend, but we’ve been told that he’s suspended and he’s not allowed to. We asked the question yesterday whether he could play this weekend and we were told no, he is suspended.

If the ban had started after the game against England as is usually expected then Cian Healy would have been available to play against France on March 9th and would only have missed the game against Scotland on February 24th.

The IRFU are set to appeal the ban.

                    Set to appeal the ban?

Call me old fashioned but I really don't think appealing an act of wanton thuggery sets a very good example.

If it gets overturned it will be a farce.

There have been some really suspect high tackles for me today from the French, wrapping around the neck is ****ing dangerous.
