Good game that. Scots are the best I've seen them for a good while.

2 of the most frustrating games I've ever seen (I'll confess in this thread I sacked the merseyside derby to watch us v France).
I think we did enough to beat the welsh, they had a lot of ball, we made the opportunities.
But that last 10 mins. The try that came from the Hidalgo-Clyne break, no way was that a knock on. Then we get a try and the ref blows time when in reality (as admitted by Warburton who was preparing the team for a kick off) we should have received the ball and had one more opportunity to get points...
Thats 3 in a row, v NZ we had a kick to win (was at that one), the French and the Welsh - if we take our chances we win. The team is good, it clearly lacks belief.
... In saying all that... I'm cool with it, I'm not all that bothered

You played well tbh and probably some of the best rugby I've seen from Scotland in some time.
However in case you've forgotten what it looks like here's your usual trophy

That looks like a massive chocolate spoon.
I was just chatting to my Dad about that - it'll be us v Italy for that FKN wooden spoon as usual. I think having Tommy Seymour injured and replacing him with Lamont, who is powerful, but a less capable runner made a difference also... Dunno.
just need to get the winning habit as we are playing well, have a strong team in all areas, even strong-ish off the bench, we just can't win games. Even fitness wise we finished stronger than the Welsh. I think the experience that Wales and Ireland have is worth a few points.
England just seem to have vast amounts of players to call upon right now, and a good coach so you guys a re strong right now too.

When did we last beat you?
I remember beating you at Murrayfield in a game where it was totally pissing down, seems like not all that long ago (i.e., within last decade!).
Last game I saw live Scotland v England you absolutely decimated us at Murrayfield, there was some Countrylife, horsey old English bag sat behind us shouting at the English players, (gow on Josh, Come on Jonny etc) in the plummiest accent imaginable.
The rage was bubbling close beneath the surface that day I'll tell you

Bad losers and winners FTW
I was just looking and there are loads of tickets left for the Italy game.
All the £30's are gone, there are a few £40's, and unsurprisingly **** loads of £70 and £75 left.
Yeah 5pm kick offs are liable to be a bit messy - should be a cracking game though!
Edit - It was 2008 we last won.Last edited by Buzzo; 16-02-15, 01:46 PM.Modifying post.

Thats quite harsh, there was definitely zero intent... I saw Gatland reckoned it should have been a red.Originally posted by RichC View PostFin Russell has been cited for that tackle yesterday.

not even the try - was still winning. Just the conversion ruined it for me
