I still say football can learn a lot from the mixed fans / families in the stands and general behaviour toward the ref. Can't remember which game but the ref saying "If you talk to me like that again, I'll stop the game" cracked me up. Players all apologetic and wanting to get on with it, contrasted with say Diego Costa and others.

The power of the referee in Union is definitely something the authorities in football should look at.
Very under strength Welsh side for the English to face next up, be a very different team to the one Gatland envisaged playing when he looked ahead to the start of this tournament not more than a month ago.
Wales have been decimated leading up to and during the WC so far, top players injured at the worst possible time in their careers.
But then again, as is the way with sport, as one door closes for someone another opens for someone else to take their chance.
Ma-hoo-sive match ahead this PM. Scotland v. Japan.
Japan on the back of beating SA will surely be confident. I tend to think this may have been a good thing for Scotland, any thoughts of complacency (perhaps our oldest enemy) will be miles from the players minds after the game at the weekend.
The other thing will be that this is our first game, whilst Japan must surely be feeling it having played such a huge match only 4 days ago.
Great performance. Japan threw everything at us and looked a real threat in the first half. But once we got a bit of space on the scoreboard we controlled the game.
Our defence looked rock solid. And then a decent amount of invention and flair from the backs to cross the line and get 5 trys and a bonus point.
