So so unlucky. ****ing hell between the last min Polish equaliser in the euros and that offside for the peno there... So harsh. Scots were fantastic though.

Former Scotland international Gavin Hastings says referee Craig Joubert running off the field at the end of the Scotland v Australia Rugby World Cup quarter-final after awarding a controversial late penalty is one of the worst things he has seen on a rugby field.

Joubert chose not to consult the TMO in awarding the penalty, which Bernard Foley kicked to win the game 35-34 at Twickenham, and the South African official sprinted off the field at the end of the game.

It was that act which angered Hastings and former England scrum-half Matt Dawson.

"That is the worst thing I have seen on a rugby field in a very long time. He is not prepared to face up to the players, that is not rugby and that is not the spirit of rugby," Hastings said.

Got to admit I have watched more Rugby in the last month than football and have loved every minute of it.

Scotland were robbed and Argies were brilliant to watch yesterday.

All coming from an England fan as well , this has been sport at its best and cruellest.
