You can only beat the team put out in front of you Nev, you don't get to pick the oppositions starting XV

The commentary was outrageous, co-commentary was ok, but the lead guy was unbelievable.

I'd say Edinburgh were ahead on every stat and deserved the win. Almost constant territory and possession.

BTW. You want to listen to when Chris Paterson commentates on Edinburgh games, he is almost apologetic if Edinburgh are playing well which is equally annoying.

It might have been Michael Corcoran - a very ardent Munster fan.....he does radio and sometimes tv

It’s a real boon for Edinburgh points wise to get a relatively straight forward win.

I doubt many other teams will get such assistance away at Munster.

Richard Cockerill as ever spoke well and honestly post match.

Brilliant play from Russell. He reminds me of the original Jonathan Davies.
          Another MASSIVE game

            John Barclay retiring.

He went off with an HIA in the Edinburgh Bordeaux game I was at. And has previously had most of a season out with an HIA.

A career in the media awaits. His Scotland days were numbered with Jamie Ritchie, Magnus Bradbury and Hamish Watson coming through.

Great player on his day. Big few years down in Scarlets. The performance which epitomised his best for me was the Calcutta Cup win in 2018. A superb back row forward performance with some excellent jackaling.

Just got round to watching Saracens v Munster from last w/e Nev; presumably you saw it?

The returning England players looked really off the pace and I reckon your boys might have pulled off a shock if the Munster medic hadn't succeeded in getting the Sarries boys fired up for the last quarter

I bet he was popular after the game

usual Munster lacking behind the scrum when it matters, no Carbury, POM and Beirne going off early screwed us.....

We ‘JUST’ need to win a way at Racing now

Seems a touch premature given he can't be saving himself for club games when he only plays a half (at best).

Just bought tickets for the Premiership final. I bought them about this time last year and this final is about 3 weeks later, but loads have already gone presumably because Saracens won't be there so fans of other clubs are thinking it might actually be worth going.

Last time we sat dead on half way in the top tier at about £50 odd each. This time those tickets are £90 (the second most expensive) so I'm wondering if someone made a balls up and accidentally under priced them. Anyway I'm not shelling out £450 so have had to make some concessions in terms of location although to be fair there aren't any poor views at Twickenham.

Etzebeth seems to be settling into France well with his Kiwi buddies Messam and Savea.

On the rugby, I came across this piece on Nadolo the other day, loved it. Always thought of him as an outstanding player, but he's a lovely guy too. Him playing football is classic.

Jonny Gray looks likely to sign for Exeter next season. Will mean three Scots at Exeter with Hogg, Gray and Skinner.

Bit of a result for Glasgow re-signing Leone Nakarawa. He is a monster. A big part of their pro14 tile a few years ago.

                              Corrected for you

JG will be a good signing for both parties IMO and he will definitely improve as a player there under Baxter.

Yeah I think JG will getvloads better with the move his potential is huge. Still young and has done all he can at Glasgow. Feel for the Warriors though they’ve lost Russell, Hogg and Gray over the last three years.

Skinners Dads Scottish - he’s one of ours
