That was awkward at the weigh-in.

      Where would Vettel go though?

Be better to hold on until they get the car going again?

Yeah, no interaction at all Lewis not even facing him.

Fancy he'd love a pop at Ferrari at some point.

I can't see the car getting better, especially considering Adrian's leaving.

Alonso would have to leave first.

Possibly but I think Alonso would back himself against any team mate

Re Vettel - I can't help but think this is a combination of events. He's just off the back of defending his title for four years straight in the most competitive era since the 80's, where that just didn't happen - his titles were harder to come by than Schumacher's in the early 00's - the mental fatigue of doing that might have take its toll. This might be a year off. Also, the blown diffuser era was made for his style. One thing he's picked up and learned this season is how to fight in the mid field - he's probably a better all round driver than he was 2 or 3 years ago.

Hilarious reaction to Nico trying Italian to win them over.

Fighting will always make you a better driver. The RB is still a fantastic car and almost certainly the best through the corners, but the Merc engine is far better than the Renault engine.

                        He's not totally leaving.

Absolutely. It does look like a new challenge may be needed too.

The car is a good car. Its just got a weak power unit.

Red Bull are going to be working more directly with Renault for next season, so there might be big improvements there.

Yeah but no but yeah. I think he would back himself against anyone but he likes the team focussed on him.

Yeah good for williams. Changing to merc and Symonds influence is having an effect. Think we also got some ex lotus/Renault guys. Though to be fair quite a few teams got staff from enstone.

This year the Willi is a conservative design and not fully influenced by Symonds. So hopefully a better car next year. A big difference is development. We used to check stuff at the car but now there are less updates but they tend to all make a difference.
