Yeah, Vettel was phenomenal in the first few laps. Really pleased for and gutted for Di Resta at the same time - great drive, but not quite good enough for the podium. Thats his first good drive since the McLaren job went to Perez - who was **** again He's overcompensating with nasty lunges, he looks like he's struggling with the pressure.

Hamilton and Alonso performed decent damage limitation exercises. Alonso was proving there that the best don't need ****ty gimmicks like DRS to pass.

Yeah considering the starts both Hamilton and Alonso had they did amazingly well to finish where they did. PDR should have got the drive at McLaren but they went with the young Mexican who just doesnt' look up to the job. Hats off to Vettel, got himself out in front and then paced it well, that RedBUll is so good as a front runner and the tech team certainly have done their job with yet another great car, easy on tires etc..

Re Perez - I think the fact that Carlos Slim and his associates were there today tells its own story. Depressing. Imagine that in football - playing someone up front because they bring in sponsorship. I know we almost had that with Arsenal and Inamoto to a degree, but ffs, its lame.

Yeah he's already 30 behind,I hope the bad luck switches to Vettel soon or this could be over by mid season.

Alonso is a ****ing king. He was brilliant again. Best since Senna for me and the best on the grid at the moment.

I really hope he gets at least the third Championship that his quality deserves.

Tight for me between Alonso and Hamilton tbh but either way both great drivers who get more out of the car than they should really.

Would love to see Lewis and Alonso in the same team again. For me Lewis edges him for raw talent

Lewis doesn't have his racecraft, but Alonso is at his peak now. He might have that in a couple of years, but Alonso edges it with his decision making and ability on the track just now.

Have to say though, Vettel was phenomenal in those first few laps today.

I could imagine him pitching in with some home truths about the drivers of this era. That would be box office itself.

I fancy they will here, all depends on how well the tires last I guess but I'd imagine they've been working on that since the previous race.
