Nope. It's turned into a complete joke of a sport, the return to last years tires killed this season. Pirelli need to be ditched and you've just got to hope the change in the rules actually brings some much needed competition back to the sport but I doubt it.

    Rather watch the moto GP

Yep, the tyre return killed the season. I love F1 and its painful watching it just now. Thankfully, next season's rule changes are top to bottom, which might make things more competitive.

They need to jib stupid **** like exaggerated tyre wear, DRS and KERS and make more regulation on aero. That way they'll get more wheel to wheel racing. Its a ****ing joke.

5 laps in and Vettel is 6 seconds ahead.

Just flicked it on, what a complete joke of a sport this is turning into. I love F1 but at the moment they're killing my love for this sport.

It should be about racing pure and simple, it's just not about racing at all anymore.

            F1 2013

I've watched most of the races this season but missed today's. Something definitely needs to be done though, every race sees Vettel start out front and run away, whilst there's very little/no drama behind him.

I can't remember the last time there was an accident - obviously I'm not hoping for one, but it just seems a bit robotic nowadays.

There are too many driving aids involved, plus KERS, DRS etc that make overtaking too easy rather than battling it out.

Even the radio - Rocky always telling Vettel to change gear here or change bias there, it's not focusing on the ability of the driver anymore, but more on the live R&D etc.

Dan 7 has it right, ditch the aids, give them bullet proof tyres and massively restrict the aero. Then let the drivers and engines go to war.

To make it interesting they should handicap teams/drivers based on their points totals from the previous years.

So based on this years performance Vettel/Red-Bull would have to race with only three tires and have to tow a caravan behind as well.

What are peoples thoughts on the stance of Kimi Raikonnen? Heard Brundle say on air that they should just pay him what they owe him

Lotus apparently are trying to pay the wages of staff and feel Kimi should have some patience as he is a millionaire. He just ****ed off home after going out on the first lap

Can they not just go the touring car route and give weight penalties to the faster cars?

I've no issue with it. They're not paying him so he's not working. Obviously his motivation isn't there as he's leaving the team but this an F1 team, not a charity.

I'm with Kimi on this, they agreed to his contract and they need to pay him for it. Obviously he's moving on next season but that's irrelevant to them paying what they owe him.

Too many sporting teams overstretching nowadays. What they've done is no different to Dundee, Portsmouth and Leeds.

If they can't afford the top level staff, they should operate within their budgets. (Although they did take a punt on him when he'd been out of F1 for a few years, but given his talent - was it really a risk?)

                            Still don't like him though.

Good news. Pleased with that one. They need a good head in there to help turn it around - he should bring that and the Petrobras cash means the Maldonado ransom money won't be missed. Good riddance Pastor, you are the worst driver Williams have had in the last 30 years.
