      Bit of a surprise

Formula 1: Lotus name Gerard Lopez new principal
Lotus have announced that co-chairman Gerard Lopez has replaced Frenchman Eric Boullier as principal of the Formula 1 team.

The timing of the news immediately triggered speculation that Boullier could be heading to McLaren.

McLaren are due to launch their 2014 car later on Friday.

"Gerard Lopez, will combine his position on the board with the role of team principal with immediate effect," Lotus said in a statement

Yeah, Boullier's done a great job at Lotus since the italian nutter left in disgrace. Might be just the sort of calm, effective decision maker that McLaren need. Very interesting!

The noses are ****e on all them but it is what it is.Apart from that they don't look much different to last year. That Cortina is a bit boxy though, not sure how aerodynamic she is!

The older one is better though

The Ferrari, best nose so far but still looks like a duckbilled platypus.

Looks ok from the front but these cars aren't looking pretty are they? All that black on a Ferrari? Not nice.

The most interesting though is how different the interpretations of the new regulations are - they Ferrari nose design looks totally different to the McLaren and Lotus ones. The Lotus looks like a tuning fork from above with one fork longer than the other. Its ****ing weird.

                          And ugly, damn ugly.

That looks ok from that angle anyway

Haven't seen a proper view of the force India but that Sauber looks the best of the lot so far.
