I'm a bit surprised that Lewis has chosen to have the number 44 on his car rather than 1 for the world champion.

Yeah he spoke about that, the fact that it's his number and always has been, so why change it now, everyone out there knows he's the No1, he doesn't need a number on his car to prove it.
Also how although he's the reigning champ, it was for last season, this is a new one. I suppose inside he's always believed he's the best so a number doesn't really effect that, keeping his number maybe helps him to think about fighting for the title in hand.
Quite surprised myself tbh, thought having No1 on his car/helmet is the type of vain thing he'd insist on.
Made nothing of the question about being slowed down by Rosberg either in qualifying, although the bloke tried to get something controversial from him.

I think that's a bit harsh Chazza, tbh, i know i suggested it, but it was meant more in a......'well i thought he would....but he didn't...so maybe i misjudge him and do him a disservice'... type of way, when i think of the life he leads, the luxury and adulation, i have to admit i'm impressed at how unaffected he is, or seems to be, in my eyes, which could be a bit blurry, but it's what i see.Originally posted by Chazza View Post
yeah would be right up the arrogant little tits street.
I'd expect him to help an old lady across the street should he see such a person struggling, not if he's in a car, but on foot and walked by such an event.

Think I have said before in here but I know someone who used to be pit crew for McClaren and he had nothing positive to say about him. A very unapproachable and arrogant individual along with his old man at the time. He may have changed now who knows?
Kimi however was an absolute gent and took his whole crew on holiday for a week after the season had finished along with their families.

Maybe that granny has to cross the road alone then.
