Thanjk you.

Nibali keeps accidentally ending up as race leader.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

My son got knocked off his bike this morning. He had right of way when a driver pulled out in front of him. He's a bit roughed up and his bike's a write off.
Fortunately the driver is ok because he was sitting in a protective metal box when he pulled out without taking enough care.

Roche has taken the overall lead. Nibali lost 27 seconds to the stage winner, 22 to Roche, 8 to Valverde and Rodriguez and even 4 to Uran - a first sign of weakness all year. My son's bike is wrecked and I've pulled something high up in my right thigh.
I think that's the major stuff. Where have you been anyway? You posted more when you were on holiday!

****. Hope he's OK.
See, this kind of stuff puts me off biking here. We should have more cycling lanes really.

Maybe. But it was perfectly avoidable - the driver either didn't see him or miscalculated how much time he had. Either way he wasn't taking enough care.
It's incredible the chances some drivers take with other people's safety.

He says he is. A few cuts and bruises, he's been checked out.

Agreed, although I will say watching cyclists in London some seemingly have death wishes with the way they weave and cut between cabs and buses.

As you said, they'll be the least hit by an accident with a cyclist so consider them as second class road citizens.
Roche is riding really well but I still think a top three of Nibali, Valverde and Rodriguez will happen. But what order?
