It's his duty to admit and acknowledge any infraction he knows have occurred. Questioning the ruling of the committee on any infractions is a different matter altogether.

People 'do the right thing' by owning up to breaking rules all the time, but removing themselves from a tournament when the committee says they are fine to play on is way beyond that. It's the committee's **** up.

Fred Couples still going strong at -5

Don't know why, but I've always liked him. Something about his demeanor.

I remember having a decent round once, went up to the club the next day to check the handicap board and I'd gone up .1

Couldn't ****ing believe it so checked out the results sheet and I'd been disqualified...

My 'markers' scores I'd filled in, were different to the one my playing partner had marked down, although the score was the same...I think he'd put a 3 one hole and 4 on the next but it was the other way round.

I just glanced at the card quickly, added up the front and back and checked it against mine and signed it

        Disqualified couldn't believe it

            That's what I agree with.

I do think he should have disqualified, he has gone in, told his side, and the committee have bottled it...but should he have walked himself, I'm not sure..its a difficult one. only he knows if he knowingly broke the rule.

I know he's admitted to going a couple yards back, but if he is 100% genuine that he didn't think he'd broke a rule dropping where he did then fair enough

It's a bit like the fa ****ing up on a decision

Haha, Tiger's ball had a good look at the hole and didn't fancy it

This is boiling down to a Sunday shootout. Someone will shoot 66 tomorrow to go and win it. Anyone +2 and above can still win it. Crazy. I still have KJ (-2), van Pelt (-1) and even Haas (+1) in with a squeak.
