Just went to have a bet. It dawned on me that it is a total waste of time and money. It's good to have someone to get behind but golf is the hardest sport to bet on and pick a winner at the outset. I could back about 20 players and still be nowhere near. Just now I had on my betting slip Bill Haas, Kuchar, Poulter, Donald, Jason Day, Molinari...then thought **** this!

well i am new to this gambling thing - i am not a big gambler at all, but ended up having to open a paddy power account last week for the national as we were going to a wedding and no one had time to put any bets on

i'm not going to bet massive

i reckon i will bet about £10 - maybe split on a couple of each ways and a couple of outright winners

not looking to win as such - just thinking it's a tenner, it'll make it more fun to watch, if something comes in then great, if not no big issue

re gambling - a mate of min had £110 on Fulham to win against QPR last Bank holiday monday

you should have seen the state of him in the pub - game was end to end

i just couldn't justify sticking £100 on a bet - in fact don't think he can....

it came in and he got back i think £350 total.

No there i'd stop....he however put the whole lot on barca to beat to PSG - would have took him to about £600 or so i can't remember.
