Have any of you played the course down at Hayling Island?
Absolute nightmare of a little course. 1m off the fairway and you're struggling to find your ball. The greens are either lightning fast or slow as **** and the wind. MY GOD THE WIND!
I got all cocky on the first tee when i could easily drive the par 4 and whipped out the driver. My stepdads old man laughed and said you wont be needing that sonny jim! But cocky 20yr old me said i'll be right, Drivers my favourite club. Absolutely creamed it down the middle, wind grabbed it and basically bent the thing at right angles Didnt take the driver out again after that. Low and hard iron shots all day.

Is that right, 5 of the last 7 majors have been won with belly putters ?
