    Jawbone UP

    Anyone used one of these?

I know it's very gimmicky but i can't help thinking it would be kinder cool to see all the data. Plus motivating if you see you've been on your arse all day.

One of the guys at work has one and loves it, seen a lot of positive and negative reviews.

Neither. Not fat enough to delude myself that an expensive pedometer will make me slimmer anyway.

It's not really to make you slimmer, well i guess it will aid it in the long run. Just interesting to see trends in your week where you can up your exercise. Find that the battery on my iphone drains on long runs so it's difficult to monitor miles / calories burnt etc

Monitors sleep patterns, idle time - guess if you're into data it's kinder cool.

It's a bit OTT that IMO, but interesting nonetheless.

How long do you need to run before your battery dies. I go on hour long runs using Endomondo and don't find it drains my battery all that much. I know you run for a lot longer than I do, but assuming you have it charged before you leave surely it can't completely drain while you're out running?

I was crewing a mate last weekend on a 100 mile run and i had to charge it twice from a portable battery back. Lasted about 5 hours, then was charging for about 2, then last for about 6 hours .

Apparently this is meant to last for 10 days!!! So you can see the appeal,
