Was just comparing Buttler and Bavuma. Almost identical test records. Very different players. Middle order batsmen that get starts and can't do anything substantial with them (80+ scores). Their first class records aren't much better so it makes you wonder why they were even selected in the first place.

In total fairness, i'm not even sure England deserve 1-3, but for Stokes it would've been 3-0 which is more representative of the series.

Still maintain Butler should be keeper and captain.

Butler is always batting with the tail, yes he could have done better but I don't think that stat tells the whole story of the circumstances in which he bats.
