Thanjk you.

Our batsman let us down. Our bowlers have been in the field all but 2 days of this series. Not good enough. How are you supposed to recover and bowl well in this heat if you are getting no rest. No wonder Australia have piled on the runs.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Well, I just think that England look to be in a pretty bad place at the moment. Five-nil is a real possibility and at the moment you can see the tourists getting beaten heavily in both Melbourne and Sydney. The way the wickets were prepared in England – tailor-made for spin – told you they were worried about facing Australia in English conditions. I think Australia took that as a positive and in this series you can see why England did it. From this vantage point it looks like all that was doing was covering the issues in the England team. Now they can't hide from them any more. They're going to have to do something different.
So, you are the England selector's Mr7, who do you go with for the next test?????
They need to be bold and bring in new blood - get rid of the status loser quo. Go for Tom Barber of Hampshire or Josh Shaw at Yorkshire - he's already classed as a medium-fast bowler at 17 years of age, so he must be doing something right. His capabilities also extend to the bat. He's already been part of England's vision in both the Development Programme and Under-19s over the past year, so he must be due for bigger and better things in years to come.
