I think most would agree; even many Aussies imo, that the Broad incident just made them look silly, given their usual stance on walking or not.

But England have been there before too.

6 of one half a dozen of the other imo.

There's no point in being bitter.

Congratulations to Australia on winning a home test series against England. A momentous achievement etc etc

Cook offski first ball of the innings chasing 504.

I'm starting to think we might have to settle for a draw.

I have defended him against naysayers throughout his entire career but now if I were in charge he'd be one of those dropped, albeit for him temporarily. Just to see how he reacts. He doesn't give a **** about anyone but himself. It's incredibly annoying to watch him indulging himself time and time again.

Why it upsets people i have no idea, it's heat of the moment stuff is all, and noone is punching anyone.

Exactly. Clarke little tiff wit Anderson was all anyone can complain about. And im sure theres been much worse said than that.

The Broad thing is just total pack mentality really. Once a few start booing it quickly escalates. He's got a really punchable face too, real pretty boy.

He was **** in Harry Potter too.

I have no idea about cricket, don't know the rules of the game or anything about it but I did notice in the summer that England won the ashes(whatever that is) fairly comprehensively. Now I hear they are getting walloped in the ashes. Can someone please explain why the ashes is on again weeks after it finished and how England can be so ****e a matter of weeks after being good?

It all basically centres around the toss of the coin. Whoever wins that wins the test match. Ashley Cook really needs to up his tossing game.

Normally every two years, alternating home and away, but they've had to bring forward the Australian series as they are hosting the World Cup next year.

Home advantage is huge in cricket. Over here we prepare pitches to suit our bowlers. Australian pitches really don't suit us, and suit them. Also the England team peaked about 12 months ago, and it's now in quite a violent downward spiral. Many of them are in their early-mid 30s.

That as well. Win the toss and bat first, you win. It's a bit **** really. Australia have won all three tosses, won all three games. When you field first, and you stand around in the field for two full days in 40 degree heat, by the time we have to bat we are ****ed.
