With Gus involved I would be surprised if Finn wasn't back in the side sooner rather than later.

Dubious conflict of interests as he's Middlesex Director of Cricket.

He will definitely favour Finn. He's practically his mentor.

Gus is ultra conservative with his views on the game and the future of the county game. Forward thinking is not something you would label him as. So in many ways he's probably a good fit with the fuddy duddies at the ECB.

Edit: good for them, not the game or the fans.

                  Sounds short term ffs

Paul Collingwood will join the England coaching staff for the West Indies tour & ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.

“I am delighted that Paul has agreed to join the England coaching staff for the trips to the West Indies and Bangladesh. He was an outstanding performer for England and proved himself to be a successful captain in Twenty20 cricket and the county game. We are looking forward to the enthusiastic approach Paul brings to all the teams that he has been involved with over the years."

                  - Paul Downton, Managing Director England cricket

I think if he impresses in this tour he could be made head coach
