Sir Ian Botham says his Twitter account was hacked by 'idiots' today after a picture of a penis was published on his timeline.
The explicit image was sent with the caption: 'What are you thinking....xx' but the former England captain quickly deleted the post after footballer Robbie Savage tweeted: "Mate, think you been hacked."
Shortly afterwards, the 58-year-old married father of three told followers he had changed his password.
News of the Botham tweet quickly went viral as friends, colleagues and others online - many using the hashtag #middlestump - weighed in and the post started trending on Twitter.
His cricketing pals were quick to react. BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew was forced to do a quick u-turn at the breakfast table...

Sir Ian later tried to style the incident out by looking on the bright side. The legendary allrounder "thanked" the mystery hacker
Botham has form though. In his autobiography he admitted to unzipping his trousers and letting 'his "old man" dangle free' during the last ball of his first class cricketing career.
