Also, apparently the rest of the team has ostracised Warner. I'm loving it, never liked the guy.

Replacements are Maxwell, Renshaw and Burns. They're going to be jetlagged as ****ed if they're selected. Can't be great getting off the plane and onto the field with a roughly 8hr difference. It's better if they're coming from Perth though which I don't believe any of them are.

To be fair to Lehmann (which is quite difficult, he's a dick) it could have been "What the ****'s that in his hand, go find out what the **** it is and tell him to get rid of it". He didn't necessarily have knowledge.

I think it's the first time I've actually had respect for Cricket Australia and the Aussie cricket fans. They are high and mighty on cheating but they've stuck to that when it's their own.

Apparently Smith and Warner will face 12 month bans Bancroft 9 months from CA.

If true that's a heavy punishment being doled out to both Warner & Smith, Bancroft I have some sympathy for, he's obviously done it but how on earth has he been put in the position in the first place.

Bancroft is 25. He will have been in the game long enough to know what he is doing isnt on.

Smith and Warner being banned for 12 months seems a little excessive as its clearly not just those involved.

Side note, a 12 month ban puts them returning around the start of the 2019 Ashes Series

Yeah definitely. My Aussie mates - like you say cricket crazy and high and mighty on cheating - have been ruthless. "Wouldn't care if Smith never plays for us again" etc, and it seems that's totally the prevailing attitude. I've been surprised by it.
