Thanjk you.

Looking ahead a little bit, but I can't even remember England's top 3 in our last Test match. Who were those muppets? Jennings was one, maybe Denly, and some other **** cunt.
For the Ashes Roy has to be in, and Archer will be too.
XI could look something like this?
Roy
?
?
Root
Buttler
Stokes
Bairstow
Moeen Ali
Broad
Archer
Anderson
Burns probably in the last test. Pope would've had a good shout at 3rd spot had he not ****ed his whole season
Could get Bairstow opening with Roy, move Woakes into number 7 or 8?
Roy
Bairstow

Root
Buttler

Moeen Ali
Woakes

Anderson
Roy will bat three, I suspect.
Burns and Jennings opened last tour. Burns will probably be given another go. Not sure who will partner him though. It definitely won't be Bairstow because he'll be keeping wicket.
Just looking at the stats and the leading run scorer in the county championship is a young opener called Peter Sibley. Might as well give him a go then.
I think Anderson is injured and might not make the first Test.
Burns only played a couple of tests and England don't drop you after a couple of Tests. He's also averaging 40 in this years county championship so is in reasonable form. He'll play IMO.
All opening options are sketchy tbh. Bairstow is never going to open, it just isn't going to happen, so we can forget that. I also don't think he should anyway, he's a gun lower middle order batter and should stay there.
Denley got a couple of Tests in the Windies and looked OK, he might play.
