Yeah, but its bascially almost Autumn here. Ashes started late because of the World Cup

And August is usually wetter than July or September, even if a bit hotter.

It's been the wettest summer (or winter) in my living memory. ****ing relentless. The last test was the only break of the summer's ****e weather I reckon. Could be a 1-0 win

Seem to remember some kerfuffle a few ashes series ago when quite a few got rained off. They moved it from August and the weather men had to come out and explain that it should have been a good decision, just bad luck that year.

This is going to be a draw. There is barely any point playing on.

Some serious pace from Archer. Good to see it back in the game.

Loved seeing Smith getting hit like that, brilliant.

Yes, as a former top order batsmen I love watching the challenge of a fast bowler running in trying to take a batsmens head off. Smith is a cunt of note and he isn't seriously injured. Aggressive, intimidating fast bowling is a beautiful part of the game.

Find it ironic that you, who celebrated Adonis Stevenson being put into a critical condition after getting knocked out have an issue my comments.

That was a savage blow on Smith.

Love him or hate him, (he seems alright to me (cheating aside) England just really struggle to get him out) that was a harsh blow, and very similar to the one that did for Philip Hughes. Zero protection on the neck.

                              Express bowling from Archer though.
