    Broad left out

In cricketing terms, I'm not sure - he has a much better average than Mark Wood over here, although I'm a big fan of Wood, and he can consider himself extremely unlucky to be left out imo.

On a personal level - lol. Unlucky Stuey, you smug cunt

Anyone watching Michael Holding on race now?

      He’s really powerful.
      *Except Michael, who died.

He’s been brilliant since the video too. Armed with logic, facts and clear ideas.

This sort of stuff is so good.

Typical England - still not a ball bowled, can't escape the rain even in summer.

Does anyone have a clip of the Holding's talk? I love Michael Holding and would love to hear what he has to say. He's great for the sport, but more importantly a quality human overall.

I met him when I was a kid (he played for my county, Derbyshire) and, unlike a lot of my childhood, I remember it vividly. Couldn't take my eyes off him and came out in goosebumps listening to his velvet voice. He was Godlike

Said it in The BLM thread. But again we have sportsmen leading when politicians, and particularly the Government, look away.
                    Modifying post.

Even though this is a bit of a mismatch, looking forward to this. Think that Roach is a bowler, should have played much more cricket than he has. 32 already. Hope he can do something with the new ball.

I would have given that if I were the umpire. Burns a bit fortunate there.

Would be fuming if I were Sibley! Go out for 3 overs and get a good one, then it rains again. Opening the batting is such a ****, unrewarding job.

Brathwaite goes for 65 - think he's a pretty good player, should have a better record than he does.

WI 64 behind with 7 wickets in hand. They would want a lead of at least a hundred from here, but their batsmen are fairly inexperienced and unproven at this level. Will be interesting to see how this develops, if they get a decent lead and the weather holds, they'll back their bowlers to knockover England. First time I'm watching Brooks, looks decent after his start here.
