              The bits that I watched of the start of the Ashes were from the Aussie broadcaster because of Covid. Warney was such a good commentator, always managed to breathe real life into the sport with insight and humour and clearly well liked by his team mates. He has been such an asset to the sport both when he played it and after because he was a genuine personality. A likeable bloke.
