Still whinging.
Pretty similar though aren't they really...player thought the ball was dead. Only real difference is that the keepers right at the stumps and he's not seen he's waiting for him to lift his foot. It's sneaky and a cunts trick either way. Just like Carey catching Bairstow out. The ****ing English are incredible at taking a moral high ground and spinning rules to suit their agenda. Picking and choosing what's 'in the spirit of the game' and what's 'just not cricket'
Let it go."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

I don't know what I think tbh. I mean it's clearly out in the laws of the game so England can have no argument really, and I wouldn't be complaining. But also I do think it was a bit shifty. Dunno. I still haven't made my mind up what I think about the Mankad, and this was similar to that I think.
The 'spirit of the game' stuff is so nebulous it probably needs some sort of extra clarity, but I guess the whole point of it is vague so extra clarity probably isn't possible
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Dont like it, think Test Cricket is the game it is because of the social by in from everyone because of the fact games last 5 days. But its a mental game as much as anything.
Hopefully it sets us up nicely for a final 3 tests. Ashes is only good when both teams are similar levels, and from what Ive seen they are. Just need someone other than Root and Stokes to step up for England again. Maybe rest Anderson and bring in someone who can steam into them more like Tounge was. Maybe bring Wood back too.*Except Michael, who died.

Comes into the same territory as the Mankad, it's acceptable and it's out, but in my mind before either is done the opposition should give a warning to the player in question. Sets the tone for plenty of dirty tricks for the rest of the ashes, which isn't what the Ashes is supposed to be about, the focus should be on two of the best teams playing cricket, not getting involved in stupidity.
