Some good batting and some good bowling today. Great catch from Bairstow. Hate to say it but it looks a series too far for 40 year old Anderson.

Ihe wouldn't be playing if it wasn't this ground, embarrassing way to go out

TBF, he bowled some belters, just nothing landed, but aye, looks like a series to far for him, such a shame

Never got to see any of it. economy rate looks superb, even if no wickets

Would be funny if England fail because of the weather. I mean, having a test match in Manchester, what could possibly go wrong

Why would it be funny unless you're Australian?

Thought England were vey good today, Stokes was trying to get away at the end, Can see an onslaught tomorrow AM before the weather comes in. Aussies looked ****ed in all fairness today

Looks like the weather is going to cause serious issues for England after a dominant innings.
                            Modifying post.

Might get 2 hours in just after lunch. Looks like a break in rain from 12.45 to 15.30, time they've cleared the surface water, possible hour or two and same tomorrow. Going to need some great bowling, some poor batting and a large chunk of luck!

Rain is going to save this Aussies here, isn't it?

All told they've been pretty poor this series.
