Benkenstein shouldn't have a job in pro cricket after this season. 10/10 in D1, 8/8 in D2 and looking like 9/10 in D1!

              492/3 after 3 days.

Fines for poor pitches should extend to this end of the spectrum too, not just ones where you get 20 wickets in a day.

They're not even generating any movement in the air, no late swing, not even once it's past the wicket. Is is also the type of ball being used? Lack of movement through the air can't be pitch related?

Thanks! Cleared it up for me, cos if the swing is in the early overs with the Kook then I missed that bit. I just saw from about 9am this morning til just before they took the new ball, so I got the dead, lifeless Kookaburra then, no hint of reverse swing.

Can't see Pakistan losing 10 wickets in a day and a half, so at the moment England are just chasing records. Think they'd quite like Brook to take the highest score for an Englishman, currently 364 by Len Hutton. But where Hutton took over 800 balls to get his, Brook is racing along at nearly a run a ball.

But he falls on 317....might as well have a bowl at Pakistan now, unless they have another record in sight?
