They barely play 50 over cricket any more. The One Day Cup has been sidelined in this country and the players are all over the world playing T20 franchise cricket.

The weather on Sunday was cracking. Regretted not taking my hat in the end. They have some really comfy seats under the new hotel development. Big padded things with arm rests and cup holders. Wish they were not square to the wicket though!

For me though, can't beat a trip to the seaside when they play at Balckpool. One visit to Blackpool I was walking along the Prom and noticed someone had taken the time to balance a human turd on its end and its still better than a trip to Manchester city centre.
