Roses T20 today. Thought the heat would be bad enough but pint in town before leaving Chester packed for races this evening. Pint in Manc before heading to the ground packed for Oasis. Hours of offensive heat then home on the train almost certain to be full of crap karaoke

On a cricketing note Italy have qualified for next year’s World Cup T20

Scotland miss out after losing to Jersey

Lancs actually surpassed Yorks score after 9 overs. Only problem is Yorkshire got 85 for no loss off the next 5 overs. That's where the game was lost. And the dropped catches and chucked pies

Anyone able to explain England's strategy with the.wickets that have been prepared for the first three tests?

Is it too simplistic to suggest that England think they have the best test batting line up and they fancy their chances at out scoring any opposition?

Only just seen how few overs have been bowled across the 3 days. Dreadful stuff.

                    Ind 82-7

Three wickets late last night, three in the first 45 minutes this morning.

                    Wow - come on!

With summers getting warmer and drier, is it maybe a case that English groundsmen need to rethink how the wickets are prepared? All three tests have been batsmen friendly in terms of run scoring, with very little in it for the bowler.

25 minutes later and they've got that total down to 39 required...slowly but surely.

I haven't got commentary on, but I assume the constant camera switch to Archer is questioning why they haven't turned to him, why is Stokes continuing?
