Though somewhat erratic he does seem back to his best form, which to be fair, could be somewhat erratic.

He was giving Monfils a lesson for the first 2 sets and then he nodded off. I don't expect him to beat Rafa (but you never know...) so an exit at the semi stage means he'll be at SW19 for some early practice.

Rafa v Murray in Rome was a fantastic match. Muzza won the first set comfortably, then he dipped and Rafa won the second, then in the third Rafa was playing pretty much at his best and Murray lived with it and pushed Rafa right to the wire before eventually losing.

If Murray brings his A game this will be a cracker and he has a chance.

History would suggest Andy hasn't got a hope - Rafa has lost one match in 9 years at the French Open and has a 5-0 head to head advantage on clay.

Aye I think it'll be a repeat of Rome. Murray will pose him plenty of problems I reckon but ultimately not enough.

Brilliant stuff though from Muzza to make the semis from a ranking of 7 and off the back of injuries etc.

I think he will take confidence from the tournament, even if as is likely, he exits it tomorrow.

He looks to have rediscovered his confidence - perfect in advance of Queens and Wimbledon.

Slaughtered - that said Murray should be happy enough with his tournament, and he looked done today. Nadal didn't miss a thing today.
