He's also in my view been the best player, even forgetting the number of Slams he's won. The best player to watch, the most talented player we've seen. He took tennis to a new level and dominated for years, which no-one really has done. I don't ever remember seeing someone with all the shots, with such an extensive armoury. He hit shots most players could only dream of. I think it's gonna take something pretty extraordinary for Federer not to be viewed as the GOAT for many years to come.

Stan in the final. Pleased for him, he deserves it.
