    Hmmm.. first one is about CFS. Second is a poor quality study; no control group and no objective data, really is also about swimming. Third one I can't get results of until I get onto my PC with Athens.

    I do completely agree with you though about the feel good factor. Used to love going for a cold ocean swim, brilliant way to start the day

        They were just the first few related studies I could find. I doubt there's any hard science on it, and I think the suggested benefits are as much due to no longer having hot showers.

          the trick with gluten free bread is that you pretty much have to toast it no matter what you're doing with it. if it isn't toasted, it's not as good.

            Found a gym near me and manged to get the off peak membership. Gym, Swimming, Spa and Classes all for £30 a month. All I have to do is go before 5.30pm.

            Sound like a good deal to you guys?

              It'd be good if you work night shifts or something. If not then how easy is it for you to get there during normal office hours? It'd be pointless for me.

                If they don't have a peak morning time then that sounds alright.

                Would you use all the facilities?

                Also check the small print on how long you are locked in for and when they can change the terms.

                We used to have a deal through work where if you went about 4 times a week it was basically free then over the course of 2 years the price went up to about £40 discounted.

                  Have torn a muscle in my back. Have been trying to train through it for a few weeks but it wasnt getting better, so have seen a physio last week and yesterday & rested. Got more appointments- very bad business- no heavy squats, deadlifts, cleans or bent-over rows.
                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

                    Work from home most of the time, and its a case of as long as the work is done my boss doesnt care how long I take. No morning limitations either. No minimum contract, no joining fee. Personally I think its a good deal.

                      Can't get anything for that price round here so I am waiting for The Gym to open near us in November £12 a month and open 24 hours.

                          We have one of those opening near us. But its in an old nightclub I have done more things than I care to remember in. I've also been told they are packed, anything other than 11pm to 6am, mainly because they are so cheap.

                              Just because the Irish economy is on its arse, doesn't mean ours is Its cheap though I think. Some range from £15-£55 a month off peak here in Colchester. Its mad.

                                He couldnt say -it's not too bad but it's not healing as quick as he thought it would. Really could do with my health at the mo to train as stuff has kicked off in the personal life again & I seriously need to let of some steam.
